ECoR Warns Job Seekers Against Fraudsters


Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has warned the job seekers not to fall into the trap of fraudsters.

Some fraudsters have been arrested by police for duping youths of lakhs of rupees by promising them to provide jobs in Railways.

A big racket is apparently functioning wherein unscrupulous elements are cheating gullible and innocent unemployed youths on this issue. Forged Call Letters, Fake Joining Letters have been issued to them, and they also conduct fake interviews. – ECoR

Interestingly, it is reported that the fraud organizations are paying them the first month salary and thereafter discard their communication with the victims. This racket is also taking them to Railway Stations and asking the victims to note down the train numbers, train movements, and other similar railway operations work which are completely fraudulent, the release added.

Keeping in mind this serious matter, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has launched a massive campaign to educate people so that the innocent unemployed youths will not fall prey to these types of rackets.

It would also educate prospective candidates about the structure and system of Railway Examination and the entire process of Railway Recruitment System.

Informing that all the Railway Examinations are being held online, it said that all the recruitment is being notified through newspaper advertisements.

In case there are any doubts regarding the genuineness of any call letter or letter of appointment, the prospective candidates can check with the Office of the Chief Personnel Officer of East Coast Railway.
