Oscar Science College Secretary Arrested

Kendrapara: The Kendrapara Sadar police on Saturday arrested Umesh Chandra Sahu, secretary of OSCAR Science College, for his alleged involvement in cheating and misbehaving the guardians.

Sahu misbehaved the guardians when they went to take the transfer certificate of their children, informed Nilakantha Prasad Patra, the IIC of Kendrapara Sadar police station.

The IIC said one Ramesh Sahu, a guardian of a student, on Thursday, lodged a FIR at Sadar police station against Umesh Sahu, the secretary of OSCAR Science college, alleging that since last one month the college remained closed and the students were deprived of attending classes.

Apprehending that the career of their children would be ruined in the college, the guardians had gone to take transfer certificate and No-objection Certificates from the college.

But the secretary refused to provide them the transfer certificate and allegedly misbehaved the guardians.
