Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday hailed the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army against terror bases across the Line of Control (LoC).
He said his government supported the move to fight against terrorism.
“We salute the #IndianArmy for bravery & precision of #SurgicalStrike on terror launch pads; reiterate support for fight against terrorism,” tweeted Naveen Patnaik.
Earlier on Thursday, Union Home minister Rajnath Singh informed the Chief Minister about the surgical strike.
Rajnath also informed the Chief Ministers of West Bengal, Punjab and Bihar and several opposition political leaders about the Army’s surgical strike.
