KIIT International Model United Nations From Oct 22

Bhubaneswar: KIIT International Model United Nations 2016, the fourth consecutive installment of the mega event, will begin from October 22 to October 24.

It  is now attracting delegates from all across the country and globe.

After having declared as Asia’s Largest International Model United Nations in 2015, the organizing crew is working day in, day out, to achieve the glorious milestone of becoming one of the world’s largest Model United Nations events ever.

In its previous edition, KIIT International MUN had received a footfall of 1800+ delegates in 15 versatile committees which had witnessed MUN lovers right from school students to International delegates from more than 20 countries. The expected footfall for this version stands as 2500+ delegates in 25 committees.

Having a robust collaboration with over a dozen of International MUNs across the globe, this October Bhubaneswar shall witness yet another event of global panorama hosted at city’s premier institution, KIIT University.

In his greeting message, Secretary-General, Sourabh Pandey (a student of KIIT School of engineering) said, “For, there shall never be a habit better than, becoming better!” The stage is all set to host something like never before. With 25 committees, 2000 and more delegates, 16 overseas collaborations, 3 explicit conference days, exquisite social nights, and a buffet of the diplomacy skills over words, we give you KIITMUN 2016.”

“The event is supposed to realize the title of becoming the World’s largest MUN ever, in terms of registered delegate footfall and committees in its upcoming edition,” he added.

He revealed some key points that separate KIIT International MUN 2016 from other MUNs across the nation with his following statement, “At KIITMUN, we negate the doctrines that segregate participants on the basis of the quantity of MUNs they have participated. We rather believe that the newcomers are the real boost to the MUN circuit all across the globe. The true nature of MUNs is hence realized by the awareness of the people about the UN agendas, policies, and goals. Promoting awareness among the masses is not just the act of accomplishing the values of education but also the much-needed measure, to make this world, a better place to live. ”
