XIMB Set To Hold ‘Xpressions’16’

Bhubaneswar: Xavier Institute of Management-Bhubaneswar (XIMB) will hold a three-day business-cultural fest ‘Xpressions’16’ on November 11.

About 13 business schools from all over the country to participate in the event which involves a host of activities and competitions, said sources.

The event would test the management skills of students through different means such as business simulation games and case study competitions.

According to a report, competitions named Gladiator,  Kurukshetra, Skill City Helios, and Spardha will be held during the three-day fest.

Xpressions’16 will also provide students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic skills. They will showcase their musical skills in a segment titled Mid Decibelz. Other two segments are Goonj-to promote soloists, while Carnival De Vogue is a high-end fashion show.

For those oriented towards theater there would be Aaghaaz and for the dance lovers, there is Thirkan. Two other highlights of the event are Xansad, the parliamentary debate competition, and XIMB MUN, which simulates the United Nations and involves debates on global issues.
