Jagatsinghpur: A lookout notice has been issued against the managing director of Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) Mahiminanada Mishra in a murder case that took place in Paradip on October 26 this year.
The Jagatsinghpur police have issued the lookout notice against Mahiminanda Mishra apprehending that he might escape abroad and not cooperate in the police investigation.
Apart from Mahiminanada, lookout notices have also been issued against the three other employees of OSL who have been named as accused in the FIR filed by the deceased’s brother.
Notably, Mahimananda Mishra has been booked in a murder case by Paradip police.
The General Manager of Seaways and Logistics Limited (SSLL) Mahendra Swain was shot dead by hired goons on October 26. The slain GM’s brother Raj Kishore Swain had lodged a FIR with Paradip police station that he suspected the role of Mahimananda Mishra and three of his employees in OSL involvement behind the murder of his brother.
Basing on the FIR police has registered a case of murder against Mahimananda and his three employees- Basant Kumar Bal, Subash Acharya and Devi Tripathy.
