Dharmendra Pradhan To Visit JE Affected Malkangiri

Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan will visit Malkangiri district on November 14 to take stock of Japanese Encephalitis situation.

Over 100 children have died so far due to the killer disease in the district.

Pradhan along with Basant Panda, KV Singhdeo, Bhrugu Baxipatra and other leaders would visit the affected villages in Malkangiri on Monday, said BJP sources.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is yet to visit the affected villages even after the death of over 100 children. However, doctors are camping in the district to check the spread of the disease to other areas.
