Council of Ministers approve supplementary budget for 2016-17

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Wednesday approved the supplementary budget for the 2016-17 financial year. The supplementary budget is scheduled to be placed in the state Assembly on December 1.

The budget was approved at a meeting of the Council of Ministers held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the secretariat here on Wednesday.

Sources said the Council of Ministers approved Rs 5,983.08 crore supplementary budget for 2016-17.
