Bhubaneswar: The CBI, which has arrested Trinamool Congress MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay for his alleged involvement in the Rose Valley group chit fund scam, will bring him to Bhubaneswar for further interrogation.
CBI sources said they would bring the TMC MP by Tuesday night.
They would produce him before a court on Wednesday and seek remand of Bandyopadhyay.
Bandyopadhyay was arrested by the CBI on Tuesday for his alleged involvement in the Rose Valley group chit fund scam.
Meanwhile, a special CBI court on Tuesday granted the central investigating agency to take TMC MP Tapas Pal on another three-day remand for further interrogation into the Rose Valley chit fund scam.
CBI will take Pal on remand for the second time. Earlier, the court had granted three-day remand of Pal.
