Holding a meeting with senior officials of health department recently, the department secretary Pramod Kumar Meherda asked to prepare the road map for attracting investment in the healthcare sector.

In the policy, the state government has identified 11 out of 30 districts of the state as priority districts to ensure quality healthcare services in these districts.

The districts are Bolangir, Boudh, Gajapati, kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Rayagada and Sonepur.

Hospital and healthcare projects will be promoted in these districts with the support of private sector investments, the official said.
