BSE uploads detailed info on HSC exam online

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has uploaded the information related to this year’s High School Certificate (HSC) examination on its website.

The BSE authorities have arranged 2,938 exam centers, 295 nodal centers and 62 evaluation centers across the state. Students can visit the Board’s official website www.bseodisha.ac.in to access the details of the exam centers and examinees.

Parents can get the details of the examination centers by providing the school code on the website. Besides, other details including the number of examinees, location of exam centers, exam schedule and a total number of candidates at a center can also be ascertained from the website.

The board has reduced the number of evaluation centers from 69 in 2016 to 62 this year However, an adequate number of evaluators has been appointed this year for smooth and hassle-free evaluation of answer sheets.

At least 5,274 candidates, who are taking up the exam in correspondence mode, need a unique Identification number which will be available on the Board’s website by putting the candidate’s name and father’s name.

Using the number, candidates can get the details of their exam center and other relevant data.
