Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar made to wait at city airport

Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar was made to wait at the exit point of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) over non-payment of parking charges on Wednesday.

The actress, who was here to attend a function, was on her way from Terminal 1 of the city airport around 12:45 pm when her chauffeur-driven car was stopped for collection of parking fees at the exit gate.

However, the driver of the car got engaged in an argument with the staffers at the gate over payment of the charges. Soon, Urmila’s assistant joined the driver and asked the parking staff to collect the charges of Rs 55 from the event organisers.

The Bollywood actress was in the city to attend a film award ceremony on Wednesday.
