BJP president Amit Shah arrives to attend executive meeting

Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah on Friday arrived in Bhubaneswar to attend party’s national executive meeting scheduled to be held here on April 15 and 16.

Shah was warmly greeted by party workers after he reached Biju Patnaik International Airport here this afternoon.

Several BJP leaders including Dharmendra Pradhan, state president Basanta Panda and BJP legislative leader in Odisha Assembly Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo welcomed Shah with lotus garlands.

Shah then proceeded towards AG Square along with a bike rally by party workers. He also paid floral tributes to Dr. BR Ambedkar.

The saffron party’s national president is also scheduled to join Odia new year celebration programme at BJP state headquarters this evening. He will also hold a meeting with party general secretaries here.
