Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrives in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday arrived in Odisha capital t as part of her maiden-five day tour to India.

She was welcomed by Odisha DGP, police commissioner and other distinguished personalities at the airport.

She is scheduled to attend a woman empowerment program at Pokhariput in Bhubaneswar.

Later, she will visit 12th-century old Lingaraj temple in evening to offer prayer to the deity.

On her two-day tour to Odisha, Bhandari is scheduled to meet Odisha Governor SC Jamir and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. She will visit Puri tomorrow to pay obeisance to Trinity at Sree Jagannath temple.
