Odisha Tourism bags ‘Best Heritage Destination Award for Konark’

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism has bagged the ‘Holiday IQ Best Heritage Destination Award for Konark’ at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi on Thursday.

‘HolidayIQ’, India’s largest travel community & travel content website portal, conferred the award.

Nitin Bhanudas Jawale, Director, Odisha Tourism received the award on behalf of Odisha Tourism from Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office & Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.

After receiving the award, Jawale highlighted about the heritage tourism destination of the State and spoke about the new initiatives taken by the Department to promote and place Odisha Tourism both in domestic and international sector.

Arun Anand, Mahindra Holidays also congratulated Odisha Tourism for this award and expressed his desire to come up with resorts in the State of Odisha.
