Southwest monsoon sets in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The southwest monsoon has finally hit some parts of Odisha, said the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.

“The Southwest Monsoon has set in over some parts of Coastal districts of Odisha today. It has covered some parts of the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore,” a bulletin of the IMD said.

The met department said the monsoon is likely to touch other parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
