Jajpur: Tribal-dominated Nagada, which had hit the headlines for the death of children due to malnutrition, received daily bus services on Friday.
After the state government created a road to Nagada, which had remained deprived of developmental and social welfare schemes of the state government since long, it has now consequently been blessed with accessibility.
Daily bus service started to Nagada via Sukinda from Chandikhol.
Government bus service to Nagada was flagged off at Danagodi by Sukinda MLA Pritiranjan Ghadai along with Jajpur Collector Ranajn Kumar Das.
Notably, the lack of road communication came to fore when the shocking malnutrition deaths of over 19 tribal children hogged the media headlines and put the Odisha Government in an embarrassing situation nationwide and globally.
