Bhubaneswar: A total of 175 women have become the victim of objectionable viral video in last three years in Odisha while 5935 rape cases have been reported during the period.
It was informed by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the state Assembly on Monday.
While 42 cases registered relating to the incident of objectionable video of women going viral in 2015, it was 40 in 2016.
The cases relating to the objectionable video of women going viral increased to 93 in 2017. The cases have been registered by September end this year, said the Chief Minister.
