29th road safety week celebrated at Dhamra Port

Dhamra: The 29th road safety week was conducted by Dhamra Port in its premises and its peripheral area along with various road safety programmes.

The road safety week was celebrated from 11th of January to 17th of January.

Awareness programmes like safety promises, rally, marathon; roadside dramas on safety themes were also showcased in this week-long road safety celebration.

Along with these, workers of various institutions and students of various schools were awarded for obeying the traffic rules. A training programme was also conducted for the drivers of heavy vehicles drive inside the port area and also a health check-up including eye testing, blood pressure and blood sugar testing were also done.

A quiz competition was held for the port workers. Winning Students were awarded for debate and drawing competitions related to road safety.
Today on the valedictory day of road safety week, Chief Operational Officer Sudeep Dasgupta and Corporate Affairs Chief Meeth Mehta presented the award to the winners of various competitions.
