Bus hits truck in Deogarh; passengers save, helper critical

Deogarh: Passengers on a bus had a close shave on Wednesday morning even as the bus carrying them hit a speeding truck from behind at Suliabahal on National Highway 49 under Deogarh district.

However, the helper of the bus has been critically injured and admitted to a hospital.

According to reports, the bus named ‘Anima’ carrying around 35 to 40 passengers was on its way from Keonjhar to Deogarh when the mishap occurred.

Police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
