Bhubaneswar: BJD’s Kendrapada district observer Pramilla Mallik on Saturday submitted an inquiry report to party president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over allegations regarding Baijayant Panda’s conduct towards BJD workers.
Mallick submitted the report to Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas here this evening.
After several leaders from Kendrapara parliamentary constituency met Patnaik raising voice against Panda for allegedly ignoring them, the BJD president had entrusted Pramila Mallick with the task of inquiring into the allegations.
Baijayant Panda is BJD MP from Kendrapara constituency.
“I have submitted a 3-page report after consultation with all, including the elected public representatives, public on the spot and with the MP over the telephone,” said Mallick.
According to her, some opinions are against the MP while some in his favour.
Notably, Panda had alleged that a bureaucrat at Chief Minister’s Office is interfering in the party affairs.
Meanwhile, Panda tweeted that he holds no grudges against the party colleagues and office bearers who are making strange complaints against him.
I hold no grudges against my party colleagues & ofc bearers who are making strange (& easily disproved) complaints agnst me. Evry1 in Odisha knows who the villain is, the babu who now controls the party & is armtwisting them. I'm fighting for their, my & Odisha's self respect🙏🏻
