Elephant tramples man to death in Choudwar

Cuttack: In another man-animal conflict, a man was trampled to death by an elephant in Odisha’s Cuttack district, said police on Monday.

The incident occurred at Macchapangi Gahanda under Choudwar forest range in Cuttack district on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Nentrananda Dehuri of Gahanda.

According to reports, Netrananda was returning home last night when a wild jumbo attacked him. The elephant caught hold of him by its trunk and threw away. Then, the elephant trampled him leading to the death of Nentrananda.
