Odisha Commerce secy reviews Dhamra Port activities

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Commerce and Transport secretary G. Srinivas reviewed the detailed operation system of Dhamra Port.

Srinivas, who visited Dhamra Port on Wednesday, reviewed the port activities along with Chief Executive Officer Subrat Tripathy.

The Commerce secretary was accompanied by a high-level team including Bhadrak collector Gyana Dash, sub-collector Narottam Behera and senior officials.

Dhamra Port CEO Tripathy explained about the modern equipment used in the port operational system, like loader, unloader, stacker, reclaimer and wagon tippler.

The port’s geographical situation, development of Jamujhadi-Dhamra road, export & import, proposed projects, cargo handlings etc. were the major topics discussed in the review meeting.
