BJD registers thumping victory in Hindol, Attabira NACs

Dhenkanal/Bargarh: The ruling BJD has registered a thumping victory in the Notified Area Council Elections held in Dhenkanal’s Hindol and Bargarh’s Attabira.

In Attabira NAC, the BJD made a clean sweep by winning in all the 12 wards. Of the 16 wards in Hindol NAC, BJD registered a victory in 13 wards, while BJP won in one ward and the remaining two were won by independent candidates.

The Congress did not win a single seat in any of the NACs.

The counting of votes in both the places started on Thursday.The polling was held on April 3.
