Firing at Tahir Ali: Six of Tito gang arrested

Cuttack: The Commissionerate police arrested six accused involved in the firing at Tahir Ali, a brother of Al Quaeda-suspect Abdul Rehaman, at Jagatpur on March 28 this year.

The police had fired at two of the arrested accused in an encounter yesterday. All the accused were identified as aides of gangster Tito.

According to the reports, the accused had opened fire at Tahir over a tender dispute.

Cuttack police said while further investigation is on, the police may interrogate Tito if required.
