Miscreants kick pregnant woman; infant dies in womb in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, an infant allegedly died in the mother’s womb after two miscreants kicked the pregnant woman’s belly in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

The incident occurred four days back in Dosia village under the Pattamundai police station on April 11 night. However, the incident came to light after the family members lodged a complaint with the police.

According to reports, two miscreants had kicked the woman as she protested them from looting ornaments from her house in Dosia village under the Pattamundai police station on April 11 night.

The family members of the woman lodged a complaint in this regard.

While they have named two persons, the police have so far arrested one of them and are searching for the other.
