Bhubaneswar: Opposition Congress and BJP members on Tuesday created din in the Odisha Assembly over disturbances in the conduct of rituals in the Shree Jagannath Temple on Monday.
The Speaker adjourned the House till 11.30 am.
As the House met for the day, Opposition members entered into the Well of the House and shouted slogans blaming the state government for the disturbances in Jagannath temple rituals.
As they didn’t relent from sloganeering despite Speaker’s request, the latter adjourned the House at 10.31 am till 11.30 am.
