Elephant cub falls into well in Kamakshyanagar forest

Dhenkanal: A two-year-old elephant cub has fallen into an abandoned well in Jamudhara jungle under Kamakshyanagar police range in Dhenkanal district during the wee hours on Saturday.

On being informed by villagers, forest officials have reached the spot and are trying to bring the cub out of the well, which has a low level of water.

According to reports, the cub was part of an elephant herd that was moving in the area last night.
