NEET 2018 results declared: 19,600 clear entrance in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was announced on Monday.

The results were released on the official websites www.cbseneet.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in.

NEET is held for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

Nearly 13.36lakh candidates appeared the entrance examination across the country. Of 32,301 students appeared from Odisha, 19,600 clear the entrance, said sources.

They appeared for the test from 40 centres.

Sameer Patro and Arushi Kollana from Odisha secured 30th and 50th rank respectively in NEET2018, sources added.

The counselling for NEET undergraduate admissions to MBBS and BDS in government medical colleges would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
