Bhubaneswar: The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha on Friday invited applications for admissions into +3 degree courses in all degree and self-financing (degree) colleges in the state.
A notification has been issued by the department for Odisha +3 degree admission.
As per the notification, the students can avail the Common Application Form (CAF) online from June 12 at 6.00 am onwards. The application form can be downloaded from www.dheodisha.gov.in or www.samsodisha.gov.in.
The offline or manual CAF would be available at all Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Resource Centers (SRCs) set up across the state starting from 10 AM on the same day.
Students have to submit the filled-in CAFS online by 12 midnight on June 26 and on the offline mode by 5 PM on June 27.
A list of SRCs has been provided by the department on its official website for the convenience of the students.
After online CAF validation and digitisation of offline CAF by the department by June 29, the first round selection merit list of candidates would be published by 11 AM on July 3. The second round selection merit list would be released by 11 AM on July 11.
The Odisha +3 degree admission process will be conducted in two rounds. The students can apply for minimum five options and maximum 20 options in a CAF. The applicant can pay the CAF fees through the online payment gateway.
However, there will be no CAF fees for the applicants belonging to divyangs (persons with disabilities) and transgender categories.
Admission of students named in first round merit list will be held during July 4-7 at the colleges of their choices. The same will be undertaken for the students selected during second round shortlisting, during July 12-13.
Classes for degree courses in colleges across the state would start on July 16.
