Woman kills her newborn in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was killed by none other than its mother in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.

According to reports, the ghastly incident has occurred at Dhipasahi village under the Sharat police station in the district.

The mother buried the child alive in a cow-dung mound.

The incident has stunned the villagers.

On being informed, police have recovered the body and started an investigation into the incident.
