Girl gang-raped in Rourkela

Bhubaneswar: A girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by four youths in Rourkela, said police on Tuesday.

The matter came to the fore after the victim lodged a complaint at the Plant Site police station on Monday.

According to reports, the four youths had kidnapped the girl on July 29 from her house and took her to the Durgapur hill where they gang-raped her. However, the girl could manage to escape from the area and reached the police station.

On the basis of her complaint, the police have started an investigation.
