Asian Games 2018: Wishes pour for silver medalist Dutee

Bhubaneswar: Congratulatory wishes poured in from across the state for Odisha-born sprint queen Dutee Chand after she bagged silver medal in the 200-meter race at Jakarta Asian Games 2018.

“Congratulate #DuteeChand, our own sprint queen on bringing more glory for #India with a silver medal in 200m sprint, following a silver in 100m. Entire #Odisha & the nation is proud of your silver double at the #AsianGames2018. Well done!,” tweeted Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal also congratulated Dutee Chand on her historic success in Asian Games 2018.

“Another achievement by a daughter of India at @asiangames2018. Sprinter @DuteeChand bags her second Silver Medal. This time in Women’s 200m final event. Achievements of this young athlete from a deprived family in #Odisha has brought great glory to both the state & the nation,” tweeted Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
