Odisha Cong leader Mohammed Moquim arrested

Cuttack: Cuttack district Congress president Mohammed Moquim was on Thursday arrested in connection with Purighat Police Station vandalism during Bharat Bandh.

However, Moquim refuted allegation leveled against Congress leaders for vandalising the police station during nationwide protest against fuel price hike on September 10.

“No Congress leader ransacked the police station on Bharat Bandh day. It is the police who destroyed everything on itself and put the blame on the party leaders,” he added.
