Students’ Union elections to be held in Odisha on October 11

Bhubaneswar: Students’ Union elections across colleges and universities in Odisha will be held on October 11, said a notification on Friday.

As per the notification issued by the Higher Education Department, nominations for the Students’ Union elections will start from October 3 while the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on the same day.

Withdrawal of nominations and publication of final list of contestants will be held on October 4, said the notification.

Meeting on ‘Why I Stand For’ will be conducted on October 10, while polling will be held on October 11 and results will be declared on the same day, the notification said.
