Dharmendra seeks Home Minister’s intervention into shelter home horror

Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday sought the intervention of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh into the allegations of sexual exploitation of minor children residing in Good News India shelter homes across the state.

In a letter to the Home Minister, Pradhanalso urged to take exemplary action against the perpetrators to stop illegal functioning of the shelter homes.

He alleged that the NGO has violated theprovisions under the Juvenile Justice Act and is illegally operating the shelters at various places across the state.
