Bhubaneswar: BJD president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday said his party will not be part of Mahagathabandhan against the Narendra Modi government, ahead of the general elections this year.
He also said that the party will continue to remain equidistant from both the BJP and the Congress party.
“As far as the Mahagathbandhan is concerned, BJD is not a part of it. We continue with our policy of equidistance from the BJP and Congress,” said Patnaik.
When asked about the ministry reshuffle
after Agriculture minister Pradeep Maharathy’s resignation, he replied, “No,
there is not going to be any ministry reshuffle.”
