Bhubaneswar: Sundargarh MLA Jogesh Singh was on Thursday suspended from the Congress for anti-party activities.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) suspended Jogesh Singh following the recommendation of Odisha Congress Disciplinary Committee headed by former Chief Minister Hemananda Biswal.
Disciplinary committee convenor Ananta Sethi informed that the Sundargarh MLA has been suspended for repeatedly making statements in media against party.
On Wednesday, Congress MLA from Jharsuguda
and state working president Naba Kishore Das had resigned from the party to
join the ruling Biju Janata Dal.
