Sambalpur: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said his party will play a key role in the formation of the new government at Centre.
He said no national party will get majority to form government at the Centre in the elections 2019.
“No national party will get a majority in the elections and the regional parties will be the kingmaker. This is a great opportunity for both Odisha and the BJD,” said Patnaik while addressing a public meeting in Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency.
He accused the Centre of conspiring to stop KALIA scheme in the state.
Informing that around 40 lakh farmers
have been benefited so far in the scheme, the Chief Minister assured that the KALIA
scheme will continue till he is alive.
