Bhubaneswar: The heat wave condition is likely to prevail across Odisha as the temperature is likely to rise in western and interior districts of the state in the coming days.
The temperature is likely to vary between 38 to 40 degrees Celsius from May 18 to 22 and may hover between 40 to 43 degrees Celsius till May 29, said the met department.
Meanwhile, 10 places in the state recorded over 40 degree Celsius on Friday.
Western Odisha town Titlagarh recorded maximum temperature of 45.5 degree Celsius while Bolangir boiled at 44.6 degree Celsius.
Bhubaneswar boiled at 37.4 degree Celsius while Cuttack recorded 37 degree Celsius.
