Complaint against Anubhav Mohanty for misbehaving scribe

Cuttack: A complaint was on Friday filed against BJD’s Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty for allegedly misbehaving with a woman journalist.

In her complaint filed at Purighat Police Station here, the woman scribe alleged that BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty misbehaved with her when she had gone to his residence on June 12 to report that she was being harassed by his elder brother Anuprash Mohanty.

The woman journalist claimed that Anubhav abused and misbehaved with her. She also alleged that the actor-turned politician spat on her and also pushed her.

A case under IPC sections- 294, 354 (A), 323, 34 has been registered against Anubhav and his brother following the complaint filed by the scribe.

Anubhav, however, could not be contacted on the allegations.
