Odia newspaper copies on board MO Buses

Bhubaneswar: In the second phase of ‘Newspaper on Wheels’ initiative starting from October 2, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will provide free Odia newspapers for passengers to read while they travel in Mo Bus.

If the commuter is missing out on the daily news update, then the journeys on Mo Bus can be the perfect time to fix this.

In the initial phase, a leading national English newspaper daily was provided in air conditioned Mo Buses. Now, this will be extended to non AC buses as well, said a CRUT official.

The passengers will read the newspaper and pass it to other riders before they get down from the bus.

“Meeting the expectations of the public, we are implementing many people-friendly projects. We want to promote our beloved language and encourage, propagate & develop a reading habit among the daily commuters,” said Dipti Mahapatro, General Manager, Personnel and Administration & spokesperson, CRUT.
