Sex racket running in spa busted in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police busted a sex racket running in a spa in Bhubaneswar, said police on Saturday.

The Commissionerate Police busted the sex racket operating in a spa in Shastri Nagar area on Friday and arrested a middleman in this connection.

As many as five girls engaged in the sex trade absconded before the raid by police.

Police have seized several objectionable items from the spa.

Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid in the Krishna Spa in Shastri Nagar area on Friday evening and found ten secluded rooms inside the spa.

Police said efforts are on to trace and rescue the women engaged in the sex racket in Bhubaneswar.

Earlier, the Commissionerate Police had in August busted a sex racket running from a lodge in Bhubaneswar and rescued three women engaged in the flesh trade.

In April, the Commissionerate Police had busted a sex racket operating from a rented house in Khandagiri area of Bhubaneswar.
