KALIA Yojana 2nd installment in Nov; new list @ kalia.co.in

Bhubaneswar: The second installment under KALIA Yojana will be disbursed to farmers in November 2019, informed an official on Tuesday.

Agriculture secretary Saurabh Garg said verification of KALIA beneficiaries has been completed and all eligible beneficiaries will get cash under the scheme.

Notably, the Odisha government had distributed KALIA assistance worth over Rs 170 crore to 3.41 lakh ineligible beneficiaries ahead of 2019 elections.

Out of the total ineligible beneficiaries, 20,000 government employees/pensioners and 9,000 minors availed benefits under the KALIA Yojana.

The KALIA Yojana new list will be updated on website kalia.co.in.

Eligible farmers, selected under the KALIA Yojana, will be entitled to attain a financial help of Rs 5,000 in each season. The beneficiaries will get the money in their bank accounts on a yearly basis for 5 seasons.

The landless labourers will also get benefit under KALIA Yojana, the 2^nd list of which will be available at the website kalia.co.in.

Kalia Yojana list updates

The Odisha government has decided to merge KALIA Yojana with Centre’s PM-KISAN Yojana.

With this, the state government will provide Rs 4,000 per year under KALIA Yojana while Rs 6,000 will be provided under PM-Kisan scheme to the farmers.

The farmers of the state would now get just Rs 10,000 instead of Rs 16,000.

Besides, all the farmers who have not received assistance under KALIA scheme will get monetary assistance from PM Kisan for Rabi 2018-19.

With KALIA Yojana gaining wide adaptability day by day among the farming community, the government has decided to extend the scheme till PM-KISAN continues.
