Youth arrested for uploading intimate videos of ex-lover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Police arrested a youth for allegedly uploading obscene photos and intimate videos of his ex-girlfriend on social media in Odisha’s Jajpur district.

The accused has been identified as Patitapaban Mishra, a resident of Bayree village in the district.

According to police, the accused opened an account in a social media platform hiding his identity and uploaded obscene videos and photographs of the woman. He also posted vulgar comments.

The woman had filed a complaint with the Bayree police station on Monday after she came to know about the posting of videos on social media.

Police said both the accused and the woman were in a relationship and the accused allegedly entered into physical relations with the woman on the pretext of marrying her.

 In the due course, he took a few obscene photos and videos of his intimate moments with the woman.

However, the accused uploaded the intimate moments captured in camera on social media after the woman married to another man a couple of months ago, police added.
