Former OCA secretary Ashirbad Behera gets bail in chit fund scam

Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court on Tuesday granted bail to former Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Ashirbad Behera, who was arrested by the CBI for his alleged link with Artha Tatwa Group chit fund scam.

While granting bail, the court has asked Behera to surrender passport and cooperate with the investigating agency during the investigation, informed the lawyer of Behera.

The OCA secretary was arrested on September 19 this year by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) over his alleged complicity in the Artha Tatwa chit fund scam.  

CBI had arrested Ashirbad Behera on the basis of a non-bailable warrant issued by the court.
