KALIA Yojana second list: Kalahandi has maximum ineligible beneficiaries

Bhubaneswar: Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo on Wednesday informed that 45,965 persons have been identified as ineligible under the KALIA Yojana while Kalahandi district has maximum ineligible persons under the scheme.

Replying to a question in the state Assembly, the Minister said Kalahandi district has maximum ineligible persons under the KALIA Yojana and Deogarh district has the lowest ineligible Kalia beneficiaries.

He said the government disbursed Rs 2552.64 crore to 51,05,290 farmers in the KALIA Yojana 1st phase.

The government has started disbursing money to the eligible beneficiaries as per the KALIA Yojana second list in November this year.  

Notably, the state government has updated KALIA Yojana second list on its website www.kalia.co.in.
