President Kovind arrives in Odisha on two-day visit

Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday arrived in Bhubaneswar. He is on a two-day visit to Odisha.

After the President reached at Bhubaneswar airport, he was accorded a warm welcome.

Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, MPs Jual Oram and Aparajita Sarangi, chief secretary Asit Tripathy, Interim DGP Satyajit Mohanty, and other dignitaries accorded warm welcome to the President.

He is slated to lay the foundation stone of Paika Rebellion Memorial at Barunei hills in Khurda on Sunday and also attend the valedictory ceremony of Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Utkal varsity later in the day.
