Solar eclipse: Odisha govt announces holiday on Dec 26

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday announced holiday for all schools and colleges on December 26 in view of the solar eclipse.

Besides, all government offices will also remain shut on the day, sources said.

All schools and colleges in the state will remain closed on December 26 in view of the solar eclipse, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das.

Several parts of India including Odisha will witness the solar ellipse after sunrise from 9 am to 12.29 pm.
