Implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha, urges Vardhan

Bhubaneswar: Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday appealed Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the state.

“I appeal Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha so that the on one is deprived of quality healthcare in the state,” said Vardhan at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

Vardhan unveiled the statue of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee at AIIMS.

Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the people of Odisha will forever be grateful to Atal Ji for granting AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and laying its foundation stone in 2003.

On the occasion, patient care facilities including Modular Operation Theatres, ICU Complex, and a CATH –Lab and DFR (Fluoroscopy) are inaugurated at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

40 departments have been opened at the campus with 1000 bed facility.
